The Dim Sum Place opened its first outlet in 2016 along North Bridge Road, quickly establishing itself as a well-known Halal casual dining restaurant. Specialising in authentic, 100% homemade Hong Kong-style dim sum and Cantonese cuisine—with some dishes infused with a local twist—the brand has grown in popularity among both locals and tourists.

In 2021, The Dim Sum Place expanded with a second outlet at Changi City Point, followed by The Centrepoint in Nov 2022, Causeway Point and Komtar JBCC in 2025.
